HI Don,
Have you tried WDM instead of ASIO in Adobe Audition? Auditions ASIO
support is f*ing awful.

Don't quite know how you can justify that statement, Chris..
I've been using it for months (V2), with my Delta 1010 card and also my Emu
0404 card and I've never had a problem..

HI Martin,
You can dig around many forums and see people reporting issues with the
ASIO part of Audition. Adobe hasn't released any sort of update for
Audition. It stills seems related to Auditions behavior with cards that
have over 16 channels of I/O. Perhaps on some the Adobe forums or other
places there may be a work around or fix. The only one I know of is to
use the WDM. If all someone is doing is mastering or editing then you
really shouldn't need the ASIO driver at all.

Hey all

seems that digital output A1:2 is inactive, why? haven't a clue but I intend
to find out.

if I assign the output of CEP to any other digital out i.e. 3-8 it all
works.

thanks for the help

Don

Multimedia or called ASIO Dakota?

Well that could be the case Chris.
I mainly do post work, and I don't use Audition as a multitrack very often,
(I use Nuendo 3), but I sometimes use Audition when a client can't give me
AAF or OMF files but can give me Adobe .ses files.
I've never had any issues, but I don't use more than a couple of tracks to
record with and rarely more than 16 tracks playback.
