MXL MXLUSB-006 Powered Condenser Microphone.

I'm astounded at the quality of this. It's not a toy. Used with the the
little windows recorder applet it can record a high quality 16/44.1 .wav and
that's all that's necessary here for Amy's songwriter scratch pad. Cubase LE
doesn't recognize it as an input device, but I'm going to see what I can do
about this.

WHat kind of device does it show up as? A USB composite audio something or
another, and is it WDM, ASIO or MME?

It shows up as "USB Audio Device" but can't be selected as an input device
in Cubase. Strange.

Because you've got the regular RME or ASIO driver selected in
your VST devices, perhaps? If you pull that menu up, does it
give you the USB mic driver as an option?

HI DJ,
I think you'll have to make the USB mic thing the windows default record
device and then select ASIO MME or maybe ASIO DX as the driver. This
will give very high latency if you try to monitor the incoming signal
depending how the signal gets monitored on the mic.
You might want to try using the ASIO for all driver. It might make
things work better in Cubase.
