Is there a way to keep Cubase sending midi when it's
not on top or just minimized? Every time I use another
program (TX7 editor) Cubase stops sending midi. The=20
transport stops too. If I minimize it the same thing happens.

I couldn't find any settings to prevent this. What am I missing?
Tom

Check in your device manager to see if you have the "Release
ASIO Driver in Background" box checked, depending on what MIDI &
audio interface you're using, this box being checked could
affect MIDI as well as audio... if it's checked, "un-check" it
& see if that fixes it.

Neil,
Are you talking about Windows Device Manager or a Cubase setting?
I'll go look but that window doesn't show up on my internet PC. Maybe
it's because of the card I'm using.
