Who was that cool guy on the far left of the stage from Alaska that was kicking
everyone's ass last night? I loved it. I especially liked when he told
Hillary that they robbed from Social Security to balance the budget an she
just sat there stunned. hehe Now it's getting fun. Put the FU back in
fun !

Ahh, it's this guy.....he's 77, the age when you go nuts usually and say what
you really mean. hehe I like angry in a presidential candidate ;-)

http://projects.washingtonpost.com/2008-presidential-candida tes/mike-gravel/

Former Sen. Mike Gravel (Alaska): People don't like angry in their presidential
candidates. And, "angry" typified Gravel's performance last night. Gravel
called Biden "arrogant", said he felt like a "potted plant" because of the
lack of questions directed to him. Taking a cue from Ronald Reagan, Gravel
also said that he would forgive the other candidates on stage for their youth
and inexperience. Last time we checked Gravel was an asterisk in any and
all polling. Don't be shocked if this is the only debate Gravel is asked
to participate in.

That was Mike Gravel. He has an interesting history. I like him. I think
it's odd that both the dems and repubs have "spoilers" in their ranks . . .
Gravel, and Ron Paul. I heard a guy on the radio today say he thought Paul
and Gravel should run together as independents, which is interesting because
I had the same thought a few weeks ago. Everybody else in the running on
both sides either strikes me as stupid, crazy, and/or phoney.

People don't like angry in their candidates? I think that's crap. Anger is
appropriate these days. I think it's just nervous corporate election
financeers who don't like angry. Somebody said something on the order of
"If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention." I agree.

I thought Richardson was pretty good until they started talking about energy
and he started spouting off about this and that initiative while not even
mentioning that the largest natural gas drilling campaign in North America
is happening between here and Farmington NM, and then east to Lindrith NM.
the NM economny depends on the tax revenues and the employment provided by
this industry. there's lots of coal mining in NM as well. the same thing
applies in colorado. If the Democrats start taxing the independent gas
operators out of business and making domestic production more (like Clinton
did), these tax revenues will dry up (not increase) and unemployment will
soar.

These guys haven't a clue about how an economy works...........they are
short term opportunists who are trying to tell everyone what they want to
hear while ignoring reality.

Get ready to see the economy sink like a rock.

I agree with you. They mostly seem pretty clueless.

If Sarah doesn't answer, this will start to remind me of one of those rental
car commercials where the guy makes a faux pas while talking to the voice of
his GPS machine..........

Don't let the slight physical resemblance to Bill O'Reilly throw you, Ron
Paul has a brain. He was the guest on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart last
night. Don't you watch that faithfully? Everyone should, even republicans.
Before Ron Paul came out last night, Jon made merciless fun of the
democratic debate. I hurt myself laughing.
