I rented a car from Hertz for my little sojurn to Denver last week. I had a
big bunch of CD's for the trip but this car had a sirius system in it. I
hardly listened to any of the CD's. What was surprising to me was that the
programmers on this station pretty much had the **** down as far as I was
concerned. It was very enjoyable......and now I'm thinking that if I don't
have this.........

You can have one, but I know you. If you don't word clock and put a set of
hi end convertors on it, then you'll.....

This will also mean another Portico 5042 for the car... but luckily,
they run on 12V! ;-)

The hip hop, dancehall, and reggae stations are all _very_ expertly programmed.
And the rappers can curse, so I get to hear more of the song. I'm especially
impressed with the reggae channel, which really mixes well know stuff (Wailers,
Tosh, Jacob Miller) with a _generous_ dollop of much more obscure titles.

I get it with my satellite TV and have a little list of the channels so I
can change the channel without turning on my projector. Very cool.

Couldn't tell with the top down in the mountains across a PT Cruiser's =
stereo but I'd bet it beats the choices available out in the sticks =
where Deej is from :)
I suspect it's more about choices than fidelity. On that note, does any =
FM radio station not compress the living snot (as in smashed audio =
through some rane 'broadcast' compressor set on nuke -it) out of any and =
everything passing audio anyway?
