Been looking at the Omnirak Presto and a few quiklok desks (would need to
add addl rack space) ... anybody using anything they like?
I'm looking for something that has rollers so I can move it
Space for PC - dual monitors and Near fields
12 rack spaces in on/under the desk to keep it portable (so it can move without
pluging/unpluging from 2 other racks I have
any idea's would be greatly welcomed... what I'm using now is just not working!

also I'm not experienced with woodworking at all so I don't think I can build
it myself…
Thanks!!

Hi Rich,

I've been using a desk from Anthro in Tualatin, OR for over 10 years. They
make incredibly heavy-duty stuff and are widely used in hospitals and medical
offices as well.

Here's a link to their site. Sturdy, movable, and attractive.

Hey Rich,

So now I'm curious. What did you end up buying?

My wife took one look at the prices and - well let's not go there.. ended
up getting a friend help me build one and it turned out really nice - used
two racks on wheels that I had as sides with a counter top from Menards as
a top and Shelf for monitors... I'm pretty happy with it... and that leaves
more $$ for other equipment that is harder to track (by my wife) as I can
sneek it in with the other band equipment... :)

That's cool. The Anthro stuff is definitely not "cheap" in any way. I ditched
the wife a couple of years ago so only I have to worry about the financial
ramifications of Gear Acquisition Syndrome. The new fiancee is starting to
ask questions though. Yikes!

I'm sure we'd love to see a photo of your setup.

Have a great day!

Ah, do we all suffer from the "spouse just doesn't understand" syndrome?
