Hi folks. "What computer configurations does PARIS work well with?" has long been an FAQ here. Mike's multi-core drivers have opened up many new potential configurations, which has made that an even more urgent question.

My skills haven't been up to creating such a database in a way that would make the info easily entered and easily sorted. But the infrastructure to (relatively) easily create such a database finally dropped into my lap this week, so now the work begins.

So now I need to know - what do we reckon we want included?

Also - since the database won't be smart enough to read text and turn it into meaningful entries - we should constrain the possible range of answers to fixed answers whenever possible (and leave room for expansion of the fields too), so how do we want it entered?

Here's a start I made, and I hope you folks can help me refine it before we put it into action and start gathering info.

Not all fields will be "required" fields - they just have to be there in case people want to use them. Let me know what else you think is required or that you think we should give folks the option of including, or anything you think is unnecessary.
