OT: Studio Headphones [message #73797]

Fellow PARISians,

Do you have any recommendations for studio headphones? I'm looking at
buying a handful of pairs for musicians to wear while tracking.

My priorities are:
1. Must be closed headphones (no leakage of click tracks)
2. Comfort (You've gotta be able to wear them for a couple of hours of
tracking, if need be)
3. Price (I'm hoping not to spend $200 a pair. I'll go as high as $150 if
I need to, but less than that would be even better.)
4. Sound quality (I'm not doing mixing on these, so as long as they're
relatively clean, that's fine.)

Let me know what you might recommend. Thanks.

For the money and performance, the Behringer HEADPHONES HPS5000 and HPS3000
($39.00 list and 29.00 ) can't be beat.

They sound good and their light. This way, you can pretty much stock up..

I'm tellin' ya, go with the Sony MDR-V600's at Circuit City or
the like... great sound, clear, and no leakage, right around
100 bucks retail.

We've been using these for a year, and I like them more than 7506's (not as
harsh). Not to mention you get 5 for the price of one Sony.

I have two par, very light, not verrry comfortable (plastc pads), sound little
dark but good tame every click and background music.Price - ha, ha, ha price
is real jok.I payed ab.10$ for two par.

I tried the 5 pack senhiesers, and the I prefered the Behringers..
