Use an eraser to carefully clean the gold contacts that seat the card in the motherboard (electrical contact cleaning spray in the actual motherboard slot is useful too). Make certain everything's making solid electrical connection and then reinstall PARIS software to eliminate that as a possibility. before writing off the EDS card. In the event it's fried (which is not always the case with 1/1, that's often installation related) you can usually get a new one for $100 - $150 in the classifieds and get back up and running fairly quick. Record those additional error codes too: there's a collection of them and their meanings on the Wiki - http://www.kerrygalloway.com/WikiPARIS/wikka.php?wakka=BugsT roubleshooting - and they might have useful information.
