Hey everyone, just wanted to give all my fellow PARIS lovers a heads up, as something big just happened in the digital audio world.

As some of you know, I'm a big Nebula fan, as I feel they are the best sounding plugin products made. Well 2 days ago Acustica Audio released their first Core 8 product called Pink, in Acqua format. It's an API channel strip.... and it was a real game changer for computer audio. It is the first ever plugin that sounds and works like hardware. In all my 20 years of digital audio working, I've never heard this. It is worth demoing if you use another DAW, but unfortunately it will not work in PARIS.

I'm always a better tool guy and I just wanted to give you all a heads up.

My workflow is:
Produce in Studio One or Live.
Use Reaper to Nebula or Acqua my tracks.
Mix in PARIS.
Master in Wavelab or Studio One.

PARIS and Nebula/Acqua give me such great tone, I no longer miss analogue consoles.

Hi Will -

I've been following the Pink thread on GS and have the demo running too. It's really great. Unfortunately my Window 7 rig died (bad MOBO) and so I don't have Paris up and running currently, BUT I'm wondering if anyone has tried the Blue Cat Audio Patchworks or DDMF Metaplugin as an alternate host for VST plugins. Blue Cat has a 32 bit version, and Harrison Mixbus (which sounds great) has some compatibility issues with some plugs that Patchworks always seems to sort. Just thinking that since it's more current than FFX4 it might allow the use of recently released VSTs (32 bit) within Paris...
