I am trying to use Paris A/D converters using Paris ADAT card optical into Pro Tools 002 for recording. I have a project that needs to go into Pro Tools, but I would like to use Paris converters. Anyone have any luck with this. Is it even possible?
If so how do you config it. Thanks much Johnny.

No where near my system right now, but I _think_ if you set the "monitor" mode in the Project Window to "live Mix" or something like that (as opposed to always Monitor Input, or Monitor While Recording) and then in the PatchBay route your audio in straight out through the ADAT outs, as if you were using the ADATs for cue mix sends : ADI In1 - ADAT out1 etc it should work.

Using ADAT sync is another matter, if you're doing multiple takes; punch ins and so oo, then you need to just keep the time line running in PT and cut and paste later, or learn about the ADAT sync requirements for the PARIS ADAT card. Kerry G just posted a link to the manual in another thread...
