This is almost off topic because it's about Paris.
As you may recall my system got totally funky a few months back.
I have determined that all EDS cards, scsi, clock and ribbon cables work =
perfectly.
I am still trouble shooting the Magma and Lucid but should finish
that tomorrow. Later I plan to reinstall Paris which spawns this =
question:
I have 5 EDS cards and suspect that I should get them
all recognized with Mec A only before involving Mec B (E).
Good idea?
I have a load of hardware (eliminating the 442) and
have been considering the dual ADATs in one Mec
with XP concept. I have a friend whos computer was designed and built
by Chris Ludwig that has this working in two Mecs.
That's right 4 x ADATs across 2 Mecs with XP, 3 EDS with Mecs at A & =
B!!!
He has other cards in there too.
I'm thinking if I slam all the expansion cards in for the first Paris =
boot
I might get lucky. Do you think Paris learns the hardware the first =
time
out and bases every other start up around that?
Any other suggestions?
I'm feeling like DJ all of the sudden. =20
