Wow! It has signal directional markers so you can make sure to send the
signal the right way down the copper wires. If I had that on my guitar
cables, maybe I would not fall behind when I play "Got a Match". I KNEW
I did not need to practice more. I bought ten and I'm converting them
into guitar cables.

The government will order 50,000.
But only after 3 bids and 6-9 months of red tape.

I remember Eric Johnson once saying that he rewired his entire studio to deal
with the polarity of the patch cables. You _can_ measure the tiniest, tiniest
bit of polarity but it seems comical to do that kind of thing.

As Johnny used to say, "I did not know that."

It's like two more electrons per hour hang at one end of the cable. Basic
laws of physics state that on a conductor unless you do something to it the
electrons will spread themselves out pretty evenly. I haven't poured tequila
into a glass and had it hang out on one side away from the ice recently.

But Eric is nuts, and a far better geetar player than I am, so who knows?

Here's the rub... audio is "bi-phase", which means that half the time
the electrons are going the other way... this basically negates any
claims of directionality.

David.
