I've been using paris now going on seven years. Today for what ever reason
three tracks had click on them. It's definately a problem in paris. (I
send my signal chain to a backup system and had no clicks).
I know about problems with the eds cards and a lack of power/too much heat.
But I haven't changed anything in my system. And it is only a problem on
three out of 9 tracks.

What if you import the tracks into a new project?

No plugins at all. The problem is noticed immediatly after tracking on playback.
No f/x at all.

Steve,
Try what John said just to see if anything changes.
Also try moving the tracks to other channels.

I have crazy stuff happen sometimes on just one of
as many as 80 tracks. If I move the audio (one track only)
to a different channel the clicks/distortion go away.

I'm thinking it's a XP bug that is peculiar to my system.
Tom

Thanks, I do have a list of a few things i'm gonna try. I have had a few
strange occuances over the years, but resarting usually fixes most problems.
I am actually still running on win 98. I only use the computer for paris
recording.

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let all know that this issue is not only
related to Windows as Im on Mac Os and I get a bursts of loud
volume and clicks on a specific track only (no plugins, no effects).

When I move the audio to another track it plays fine, its really akward, any ideas?

Cheers,
MFO
