I heard on the radio a few days back that the guy from "Borat" is going to
play Freddy in a movie upcoming called Crazy Little Thing Called Love....
anyone have any info on this? I'm a -rabid- Freddy/Queen fan (though I think
Paul Rodgers sucks w/them, but anyway...), and can't seem to conjure
anything up on Google about it.

Sacha could certainly look the part. Hope this comes to fruition, I'd love
to see it.. I think. I guess it depends on if it's another Hollywood hack
flick or something as great as "Ray" was. I'd sure like to see a whole new
generation get turned on to FM's unbelievable amount of talent and zazz.

Yeah, I hate the way some movie makers take a great artist's life and
concentrate on all the sad degraded bits, leaving out the brilliance and
great moments. Did you see the one on Edith Piaf? That was disgusting. I
couldn't watch the whole thing. But they ate it up at the Oscars.

The great artist's brilliance does not come from their mental
aberrations. It is only hindered by any mental problems or a degraded
lifestyle they may fall into.

Hopefully, a Freddie Mercury movie won't just be about how gay he was -
not that there's anything wrong with that!
