Reverb Bundle [message #102654]

Just as an FYI, if you haven't heard the PARIS-compatible reverbs that Mike
Audet has ported over from the DP 4, the DP Pro, and the original PARIS Hall
reverb, you really owe it to yourself to pick these items up.

For a very reasonable price you can get some too smooth sounds happening
in your PARIS rig. I've been using a couple of Lexicon outboard reverbs for
some time now on my external effects. The DP Pro hall just blows them away.
I use a TC Electronics reverb in my live performance rack. I wish I could
get that lush sound like the DP Pro in PARIS on my live sound system. It's
like having a Heaven knob on your console.

If you haven't already done so, buy these reverbs for your PARIS rig. You'll
be supporting a good cause... more whistles and bells to make PARIS even
better.

I'm saving up to get the compressor bundle.

My space will be finished shortly (the first session is booked for mid-March) and presets for the new Mike Audet FX are high priorities.

You know how the studio goes; take your original time estimate, double it, and then add fifty percent to that.

Actually, I've finally got all the remaining ingredients ordered and in the space - a 4' cube of Roxul Rockboard 60 awaiting fabric wrapping and bass trap building, the SCA preamps are in Seattle and coming up with a friend, the DVI KVM is under my feet, and as might be hinted at by my signature the technical problems at the forum have finally been solved. So there's been a ton of progress, and there's soon going to be a *lot* more to report.

I started teaching at a recording school three days a week in January and I hadn't quite forseen how that was going to impact the remaining time needed to finish the space - and I just got back from Disney World with the family Very Happy

- but everything's on rails and the train's approaching the destination.

Remember - after working w/ fiberglas always wash hands and arms with COLD
water! Hot water opens your pores and lets the particles crawl in there
where they can irritate you for a long, long time. I have wrapped some 'glas
board in my time.

Just hope that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't the train!
