Hey Double A, how are you? Hope all is well in Tulsa. I did a gig with Will
Downing in Panama City, Florida a couple of weeks ago...a festival with Will
D, Boney James, Wayman, etc. Wayman performed after us and I had a chance
to speak with him and mentioned that I knew you. his face lit up.

It's great to see him working and so vibrant despite things. Sorry for the
open email, but your email addy was bouncing back...likely my end.

I'm very sorry to hear of Wayman's passing, AA. My most sincere condolences, both to yourself and to his other friends and family - he sounds like an exceptional person.

Tomorrow will be tough.. the viewing.... but my thoughts are mainly on the family and how they'll miss the kind of light he had on all the time. Local reports are expecting about 20,000 folks to show up at the funeral Thursday.
