Didn't you just post? Very Happy

The most recent thread before this is Jim Drago's yesterday; he's cutting PARIS skinning time by 90% by making "masks" for the PARIS graphics; he's got some killer new "looks" there.

The most recent post before yours was Mike Bloomer's response around ten thirty last night (oops - nope, it was Rokuez a bit after 1 AM).

It's a bit confusing but it's not really too different than the NG format - threads vs posts etc. You ever beat that problem with tree view?

I've been struggling to figure out the ins and outs of php and MySQL; I finally got the Wiki software up to date but I may need to enlist outside aid to get the old NG posts cleaned up, some of the old attached files are causing problems with upgrading. I want to get on it though - FUDforum 3.0 is a wicked upgrade.

I posted quite a bit in the classifieds this month, does that count? Rolling Eyes

Now that I've got the notification thing figured out, I can keep up on Paris things a bit more.

I still read it every day. rarely post manly becuse I have to log in and I'm lazy.
We lost a large % when the old news group died.
I did notice a steady but slow rise in posting.
I'm real glad this site is here.
I still only recoded/Mix in Paris, but want to add a radar rig for tracking.

Ha! You'll get muh adat cards when you pry 'em from muh cold dead hands.. Shocked

Which reminds me that I've got even more digital routing headaches now.. I've decided to move to Logic Native from Logic TDM since dingydesign has dropped TDM support in Logic and DP.

This means that I can now only use 8 outs with digi core audio for Logic native, so I'm trying to get adat/tdif and aes/ebu cards for my console, now that I can't use my digital 192 and adat bridge..

It never really ends, does it?

heh, we have a *really* surprising distribution of users. We Canadians just have nothing to do at the moment because there's no hockey to watch Very Happy

Lots of Americans and Canadians - well, we knew that of course, and also lots of folks like Erling in Norway and Martin in Oz - but I always get some surprises on the members page.

You'll start with 24 pages of users (lot of duplicates though) sorted by join date. Click at the top of the "flag" column to re-sort the member list by nation. There's tons of blanks at the beginning - the "IP to flag" function doesn't work on the ones brought in fron the NG, they're all 121.0.0.1 - but around P. 20 the flags start, those are the nicks who've logged in to the forums since it started.

We have some real surprises, some pretty exotic for us Norteamericanos - representatives from Egypt, Brazil, Greenland, Serbia, Finland, Portugal, Italy - good sized contingents from Croatia, Norway, France... pretty cool to browse. Viva PARIS! Very Happy

I read almost every day, but only post once in a while. Have gotten quite a bit of help migrating to XP from OS9 here.

Quite a few Eastern European Paris users I've noticed. Europe has good taste in audio gear with all the Paris and Logic users over there.. Very Happy

KG, I sent you an email.. need some advice on a bass amp when you get a minute. Thanks!

Checking in after a long absence. Still have my Paris setups, but haven't done much music lately since I bought a boat! If I didn't have any money with music, now I REALLY have no money! Boating is even more expensive than ProTools!

I will try to do better and visit this site more frequently.

I'm still here too and come here often to see what is being posted, but I don't post cause I have no questions. Chuck, it is amazing that something you started so long ago still has life. I still use Paris and am going to do my 3rd CD over the winter. Still feel the sound and ease of use is incredible.
