I seem to remember there was a wrapper for UAD-1 which preserved the UAD presets...is this correct. I installed the FxPansion wrapper 3.1 which I had purchased a long time ago but the UAD plug-ins were missing their presets. Is there another wrapper which works with them?

My UAD loads the VST presets in separate folders, but not in a drop down menu from the plugin gui itself. Some programs do that, others don't. Logic and Mixbus on Mac do. Peak on Mac doesn't. Reaper and Paris on PC don't seem to. I'm using FFX4 wrapper (I think - new system to me, and I'm not in front of it right now...)
