Been using XP for years with V2.1 . main hard drive died. I would like to stay with XP, any help would be appreciated. Specs,recs,drivers, I have lost it all. I have been working on a project for 3 years and have it backed up to external HD. Thanks in advance for any help.

Man, I feel your pain. You'll probably have to start again. I recommend a new SSD drive. Mike's windows 7 drivers include a Paris v3 install. Given that ID has dumped support for PARIS, you'll have to search for a pace free version. Edmund provided such a beast, but it was withdrawn from this forum due to legal issues.
I also recommend you upgrade your PC. Motherboards with PCI slots are rare nowadays, but depending on how many EDS cards you have, they are still out there. Do yourself a favour. Dump XP. PM me if you wish to know more. Paris works well on WIN7, and apparently WIN 10 also, but I'm sticking to 7 for now.
