Hello. I've got 2 EDD-1000 cards that I'd like to put in one PC In order to run 2 MECs on Paris. I believe that 3 short ribbon cables are needed to connect the 2 EDD-1000 cards together.

If anyone could give pointers on generic ribbon cables I could order for that, it would be very much appreciated.

I found info in an old FAQ. I've ordered some generic ribbon cables. Hopefully there's not some odd pitch that's needed.

My EDS cards are hooked together with homemade ribbon cables. I took old IDE hard drive ribbon cables and cut them with a small hacksaw blade so that they would fit. Worked fine.

The cables I ordered from ebay worked fine. I installed with the cable connector bumps facing away from the daughterboard in order for there to be enough clearance.

1x 4 inch
"10 Pin IDC Ribbon Cable with Female Polarized Connectors"

2x
"6 inch 16-Pin 2x8-Pin 2.54-Pitch Female 16-Wire IDC Flat Ribbon Cable, FR-1606"
