Pulsar card has the I/O of 16 adat channels in and out stereo spdif in and
out analog stereo in and out and two midi ins and outs.
It uses ASIO with a latency down to 3ms at 44.1khz or 1 ms at 96 khz.

Can be used as usual asio card like RME, PLUS its own environement called
scope which is realtime dsp oriented with great plugins mixers effects routing
possibilities patchbays synthesizers samplers etc.
These all can be used in conjuction with Paris (adat, analog, spdif connected)
and with native daw like cubase thru ASIO with up to 64 asio channels routed
from native app to Pulsar and back !
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Dimitrios

Pulsar card II (type 2) has 6 dsps on board and is a pci card itself.
It has an I/O plate normally (because there are three types) with 16 adat
in/out stereo spdif and analog in/out plus two midi in/out.
With almost no latency (adat routing plus normal dsp processing 19 samples
latent !!) you can use on its own window environement great sounding effects
,mixers, routing possibilities (mind blowing) and receive and send whatever
routed thru its above mentioned connections.
NOW it has a supe ASIO driver that can go down to 3 ms at 44.1 khz or 1 ms
at 96khz.
It has the ability to be addressed with up to 64 ASIO destinations that can
be routed to ΑΝΥ daw like say SONAR.
So with 3ms you can import sound from Paris via adat(spdif or analog) to
Pulsar board process inside Scope (pulsar's environement) send via ASIO to
(up to 64 channels) to Sonar put there your VST stuff then send again thru
these asio channels again back to scope ,process again (if you dare) and
then send via adat(spdif, analog) back to Paris remaining at 3ms and some
samples latent.
Pulsar mixers have a latency slider on EACH channel so you cann add sample
by sample extra latency to achieve that "Paris" number neeed to just nudge
back there.
Hope this helps more...

DImitrios
