I bought these in 2001. They are the Russian =
mics,=20
not the Chinese copies of the Russian mics. They are not a frequency =
matched=20
pair, but they do sound extremely close and I have used them in this =
manner=20
without any audible wierdness. Very nice sounding mics. they will be =
shipped=20
in a nice Cedar box from the Sound room. One of the clips on one of =
the mics=20
is damaged, but it does not affect it's functionality as far as =
holding the=20
mic. I will also be throwing in a pair of rubber banded shock mounts =
that I=20
bought for these. $500.00

2 x M-Audio CO3 unidirectional format converters-$125.00 each =
(includes=20
power supplies)

M-Audio CO2 bidirectional format converter-$50.00 (includes power =
supply)

1 x Paris MEC (blackface)-$75.00 OBO

Sony MU-R201 FX processor-$175.00

1961 Ampeg B-15N Portaflex-$700.00 (includes original Alnico blue =
Speaker=20
which was recently reconed plus an extra EV speaker that is in the =
cabinet=20
right now.)

I'll hold the MEC. I'm gonna have to keep the capsules together with =
the Oktavas to make the set complete.

Let me know when you're ready for the MEC.

The guy at thesoniq.com probably has a LOT of them.Neil,

Functionally it works just fine. It's very old and some of the hardware is
sprung, rusty or was just so far gone that I had to throw it away. I have
been thinking of putting another couple hundred buckin into it for a full
restoration. If the buyer wants authenticy, I would buy the following from
fliptops.com

Cart mount-$2.00
Cart mounting knob assembly-$18.00
Tilt back leg-$10.00
About 8' of gasketing for mounting the reconed Alnico and the front grille
(which buzzes if used while tracking-I usually remove it)-$15.00
B-15 Hardware

kit-$90.00 (not really necessary, but a couple of the hinges
are sprung and the other hardware is rusty.

Right now I have a heavy duty EV mounted in the cab that I haven't removed
because it sounds so good. I mounted in in there when I sent the original
speaker fro reconing. The the chrome on the amp was cleaned at one time with
steel wool (not by me) and is abraided a bit, but this isn't a super flaw.
The cabinet has some buzzes that are apparent when the amp is cranked (what
old amp doesn't). It could use some tightening up or crosssbracing to
eliminate these. I have also had the original power cord replaced and an XLR
plug installed to connect the head to the cab and the ground switch on the
front of the amp has been disconnected.

The amp tracks very well. I spent about a month just cleaning the grime and
smell off of it when I got it. The Tolex is in surprisingly good shape,
preserved through the years under a disgusting crust of nicotine and grime.
Smelled like it had lived in the bathroom of a biker bar for the last 40
years when I first got it. The first picture (named Ampeg B-15) was taken
right after it arrived.

The batting on the inside of the cab had to be thrown away. It was so nasty
it was a health hazard. While I was scrubbing the accummulated grunge off
the inside of the cabinet, I accidentally scrubbed off the original label
that has the SN. the cab was made in 1961, the amp head in 1962. I stapled
2" acoustic foam to the inside of the cab This could be removed and replaced
with the 1/2 inch stuff that came standard with these cabs and it would have
a bit more resonance....not much...but it would voice a bit differently.

original boxes for both interfaces, cables, and probably manuals as well.
The 12T interface, drivers and LexPanel work fine - just tested them 5
minutes ago. It runs best as a standalone on a WinME/98 machine. I used
the analog I/O usually and it worked quite well and sounds great. I don't
use it anymore so it needs a good home.

I can't guarantee the 10T drivers will work even though the interface should
be fine - the 10T drivers were rather sketchy when I tried them.

I'll also send some beta drivers as well - you can always uninstall and
reinstall the 4.10 drivers and be back up in no time. Make me an offer!

I know Dimitrios was interested and someone else as well, but as my laptop
died recently, I lost all emails.
