Hi all.
Probably a stupid question.
I'm still running a four EDS PARIS system on a Gigabyte K8NS Ultra 939, with a single core Athlon 64 3800+ processor.
It works well, albeit with a few hiccups occasionally, depending on native plugin configurations.
Given that, with my understanding, PARIS will only ever be a single core application, is there any benefit in building a quad core machine to run Paris exclusively?
Would the upside be that I could use more native plugin instances, or are they tied to the one core nabbed by PARIS?
Just curious, as I would love to have a reason to purchase Mike's new drivers, and build a new machine. (I'll probably purchase anyway, just for the fact that he has put in so much effort.., and I LOVE his Class A amp, and Drum Plate!!)
