OK, I'm impatient, and I realized that I have ten of them, so I decided to sacrifice one of my EDS cards to the cause. I've saved the ESP2 chips, and everything else came off easily too. I can either try to rebuild the card later, or maybe I'll go back into the repair business... 
I also found the old ADAT board that I had already stripped, along with all of my notes about it.
Still hoping to get dead 8in and 8out cards that I can strip down.
Anybody? Buehler? Buehler?
