Hi again.
Great that you are up and running again.
Just a note about the error 1/1.
Computer cases can be rather flimsy, and some are built to low tolerances.
The EDS card (with daughterboard) is a a large and heavy beast.
Sometimes, the EDS card partially works its way out of the PCI slot with time and vibration, particularly when the system is moved.
Ususally, just reseating the EDS is sufficient to fix the error 1/1. Make sure it is fully home in the socket, by pushing firmly downward. If there seems to be a tendency for the card to slightly lift out of the PCI socket at the back end,(a common occurrence), then a little creative bending of the EDS backplate can fix the problem.
I personally have had to file the screw notch on a couple of my EDS's to allow the card to sit fully seated, once screwed in.
It depends on the construction of the case. (I've had to do this, even with a premium Antec case in the past.)
Hope this sheds some light on what you experienced.
Kim
