Oh ya. I've been good about those.
It got me know where when the BIOS
had to be flashed. The backups wouldn't boot
any longer.
ADK pushes Paragon which works great.
Maybe a few more options than Acronis.

Huge news, Tom. Thanks for persevering - you're breaking trail for a lot of
folks that will come after you.
Now I'm *extremely* curious about these hundreds of plugs - are we breaking
new ground there too? It'll be great to eventually get plugins compiled into
a "known working" list.

Hey Everybody,
Got the UAD-2 installed and have found out two good
things about ver 5.2 software. It's latency is about
half as long as it had been in Paris and I suspect other
apps. 8256 samples (187.?ms) to be almost exact. They
also have made our Paris install simpler since all the plugs
show correctly. No more dragging the Fairchild
and EX1 into the working VST folder.
I am going to add the UAD1 into this hodge podge and
see if that frigs with IRQs or latency. If not it will stay.
My computer's internal hardware latency is behaving very
nicely also. That's what this rebuild has been all about.
Cubase with Creamware next. Back to the positive.
Kerry, I'll get a list of plugins so others can cross reference to
theirs. Maybe we can get a list of all compiled with
some latency and description data?

Such a database is an excellent idea. I've been grinding on issues related
to the PARIS forums for many weeks, but we've had a major breakthrough in
the last few days - the forums are in the process of syncing normally as we
speak (woooHOOO). After that, making some user-entry databases on the Wiki
will be high on the priority list. Until that point, here's the plain-text
start we've made, with the gracious contributions of Deej, Dimitrios and
many others. If you're logged in the Wiki, you can simply doubleclick on the
page to edit and add info.
