Hi,

I am having problems with receiving start and stop signals over ADAT sync. running Cubase 5 as slave using the HDSP5692 card. The transport immediately starts running, and never stops even if the stop button is hit on the master system. Sync information is however detected if the jog wheel on the master system is moved, and the transport locator is correctly synced in the slave system. The start and stop signals are however never received, so the transport runs forever in the slave system.

This problem only appears in Cubase 5, Cubase SX 3 is running fine.

Any one knows a solution for this?

The setup:

Motherboard: P4s800-mx
CPU: Intel 2.6 GHz
RAM: 2Gb

OS: Windows XP SP2

HDSP9652: Fut 108
Driver: wdm 3.0.82
ADAT 1: In sync
ADAT sync: In sync

Cubase 5.1.0: Slave
PARIS 3.0: Master

Really dumb Q

Are you using ASIO positioning protocol (or some damn name like that) as your sync.

I found that I could not get things to sync properly until I had that set up correctly...might have been just my system that required this but I thought I'd throw that out as a possibility
