So you've knocked the software out that you valued at $50, but you've
upped the total asking price by $25...

Thanks for the interest. Make me an offer. I've already ordered my
new system and am motivated to sell. And I've included free shipping.
Will $1375 get you to buy ? Is the $25 holding you back or are you not
even a buyer and just bored and stirring the pot?

Are you hooking this up to an external hardware mixer?

As you are new to the whole Native latency dance, I can say that once
you get tired of dealing with Total Mix, you will probably opt for an
external mixer for monitoring, cue mixes and talkback.

With Cubase 4 having the Control Room it appears that it should be easy?
I also have a mackie 1202 if it gets ugly. Are you saying total mix
and Cubase 4 Control Room don't have easy control?

Thanks David,
John

I am sure the Control Room works fine, although I have never tried it
here because we have Nuendo tied to a console. The whole
monitoring/talkback thing is just "faster and easier" outside the box.
For a commercial facility, Total Mix would be too time consuming to
deal with.

See how it goes, you will definitely notice why Paris had a leg-up on
Native systems. It will take some workflow adjustment on your part for
sure... but the same it true with any new system. I am getting
frustrated with some simple things in HD right now... fades for
instance. Fades in HD have to be applied to regions... I have been
spoiled by simply grabbing fade handles and dragging away. Nu-base and
Paris absolutely KILL HD for this.

David.

Can't ever remember trying to "stir the pot" on this newsgroup, sorry
you took it that way. I am a buyer - but I'm pointing out that you've raised
your asking price by $75 from an earlier post. ($50 for the unsaleable vs
2 software
that you've removed from the bundle, plus the $25 difference between
your original stated price of $1375 and the current stated price of $1400).

Peace,

Ted

Ted,

I really appreciate your interest but it appears that you are basing the
$1375 price on a thread called "teaser" with this statement "Prolly
around 1375 for everything but I haven't firmed up yet." This thread
was not to deceive but to telegraph my intent to sell soon.

After looking at what the market prices are I have committed to a sale
price and started this thread with the commited subject "FS: Complete
Paris System in Excellent Shape $1400".

If you would like to buy this complete Paris system please make an offer
and let's get you the system you want (which is in excellent condition)
and make this deal. If you have any questions or just want to bargain a
bit over the phone, please don't hesitate to give me a hollar.

your 1202 will bee handy for sending the "whole" mix out then use the
other presonus outs to feed the instruments individually to the
players. make sure you feed the 1202 signal through it's aux 3/4 to
bypass any of the mackies channel strip crap...ie eq.
