I am sure the Control Room works fine, although I have never tried it
here because we have Nuendo tied to a console. The whole
monitoring/talkback thing is just "faster and easier" outside the box.
For a commercial facility, Total Mix would be too time consuming to
deal with.
See how it goes, you will definitely notice why Paris had a leg-up on
Native systems. It will take some workflow adjustment on your part for
sure... but the same it true with any new system. I am getting
frustrated with some simple things in HD right now... fades for
instance. Fades in HD have to be applied to regions... I have been
spoiled by simply grabbing fade handles and dragging away. Nu-base and
Paris absolutely KILL HD for this.

your 1202 will bee handy for sending the "whole" mix out then use the
other presonus outs to feed the instruments individually to the
players. make sure you feed the 1202 signal through it's aux 3/4 to
bypass any of the mackies channel strip crap...ie eq.
