Hey all- I have an IF2 and can't seem to get it working. IE- I can't see it in the patch bay. So, can someone remind me of the rules of using one of these? I seem to remember that there are some configurations of hardware that make an IF2 not usable.

I have a 3 card system. First card is running a blue mec with an ADAT card. Second card is running a 442. Third card is trying to run the IF2 right now. I have also tried plugging the IF2 into the jack on both the 442 and the mec. No luck. I would love to have a pair of inputs on the 3 card if possible.

Oh! I think I might actually know this one! Very Happy

From the PARIS Reference Manual, page 6:

"Warning: In a multi-card PARIS system, the Interface 2 cannot be attached directly to an EDS-1000 card - it can only be connected to an Interface 442 or Interface MEC".

oops - I see you tried that already. Still, now you know Card 3 *won't* work.

Thanks guys. So, maybe I have a broken IF2? Or, does anyone know, is there something special I need to do in the software to make it visible?
