I have been using an ADAT fiber optic line into Paris to get 8 in benefits.

I get an annoying signal clip now and then, say every 4 -5 minutes.

Wondering if any one can suggest a cause or remedy.

I am also looking to buy the proper 8 in 8 out gear to enhance my rig and looking for file conversion utilites so files can be shared with Digital Performer and Pro Tools.

Twisted Evil

Thanks for any insights or leads.

Hm. Couple of questions -

1) Who's the master clock? PARIS? What's the other device? Can you reassign the master device?

2) Are your digital connections all one way, or bi-directional? If the latter, are all optical cables the same length?

PS: moved the thread into "Main" to get you more eyes on a resolution. You might want to repost the "wanted" part in "Classifieds". As to the utilities - this thread will be useful, but I'd strongly recommend checking out Reaper as your general "PARIS to everything" Swiss Army Knife for a whole bunch of reasons, some still developing Very Happy
