And you know how most of it is 9.2 on the cringe-o-matic scale?
Yeah.. But but but...
Damn, a couple were really good.

One sound like a cross between ZZ Top and the Who and still
sounds really fresh for a 20 year old tune...
No lyrics on that one yet. I MUST finsh this..

The other one has a cool melody and 9.8 on the Cringe-O-Meter
for the lyrics... So out go the words.

Another one is a blues but with a Floyd feel and a bit of
Jean-Michel Jarre in there. (did anyone else love Oxygene?)

Hey, I got work to do here...

it's so damn weird listening to my younger self... soooo weird..

Stinkin' guy could play guitar, but oh sweet Lord the lyrics...
ouch ouch ouch

But no one will ever hear them... muuhahahahah!

I did last night when a friend came by, and I have to say on the overall I'm
pretty happy and my cringe-0-meter is kinda low except a few minor things
and the mixes I would have approached differently these days. Then again,
there are the cassette 4 and 8 track recordings, yecht, that are old old old
that I would cringe at :)

That's cool stuff and funny.

One line reminded me of the old joke about the cowboys
in Indian country circling their wagons for the night.

When out of the shadows comes the drums...

BOOMboomboomboom

BOOMboomboomboom

BOOMboomboomboom

Tex says to Slim:

Slim, I don't like the sound O' them drums...

Then, from out of the darkness comes a voice....

Yeah WE don't him either, he's not our regular drummer...

heh

Hey, I finished two of the old tunes! The one with the
embarrssing lyrics got overhauled and even got a new title.
It's way way better. but will I cringe at it too in 20 years?

prolly.

The other one never did have lyrics or melody. Now it has both.
Kind of a Live at Leeds crossed with SRV vibe. Very powerful
and sexy.

(yes it is about monogamous, married, yea even middle-aged
SEX! so eat yer hearts out young folks!)

I can't share much yet, because no one gets to hear my
singing and I need to get these copyrighted first, but I will
put them up as soon as I can get my singer friend out here
ad put it together.

Pull out yer old stuff! There's diamonds in there.

Somewhere....
