I have tons of names in my rolodex, but I need a rock drummer and I haven’t
done any real rock work in a long time. I don’t want “a great jazz drummer
who can do rock”.
Looking for the real deal, on the heavy side.

Gene.

Gene,

If you don't have any luck locally, Ed Stasium might be able to help locate
someone.

http://www.edstasium.com/

Ed is from the NY, NJ area and is well connected. He helped me mic the kit
on a drum session here a while back. He's well connected in the NY area I
think.

Thanks DJ.
It’s been quite a few years, but I did run into Ed more than once “way back
when”.
I did many sessions at the Power Station but Ed was already gone.
He has been out of the area for quite a while, but I guess it wouldn’t hurt
to try.

Hi Gene,

Check out my buddy Brian Scarborough. He lives in NJ and works in NY. One
of the best drummers I've ever had the good fortune of playing with. This
guy has TONE!
