Hey everyone, long time no see... Glad I finally stumbled on Kerry's site! (I've been trying to reach the newsgroup from Doug's page to no avail.)

Anwyay, I just moved to a new place, and have to split my recording and mixing to two different rooms. (We have an isolation booth in the house, but I can't mix anywhere nearby.) Since I only have one EDS and control interface at the moment, I have to physically move them from one location to the other to mix, which is a pain.

So I'd like to find another C16 Pro (I'll consider a regular C16, but I'd prefer the Pro since I'm used to the layout already), and another EDS card. Does anybody have extras around?

Thanks much!
Matt

Looks like Corran's rig is still for sale (I suspect the more "in demand" items this year ought to be EDS cards and ADAT MEC modules), and he did express a willingness to part it out in his first post. Welcome to the forums, glad you found us!

Unfortunately, he doesn't have an EDS card with his, just the MEC and C16. If it doesn't sell as a whole, I may make on offer on the C16, but I'd really rather have another C16 Pro like I've got now.

And thanks, it's good to be back! Very Happy

I'm not sure if I am telling you something you don't already know, but the c-16 layouts are the same for the blue and black. They are printed differently, but the buttons have the same functions AFAIK.

So, if you're used to the layout of one, the other one will look different, but operate the same way under version 3 of Paris.

Someone please chime in if I am wrong on this...

Ok, good to know. I haven't used my console in 2+ years, so I'm still finding myself looking at the labels constantly, but I'm sure that can be overcome.

BTW I do have a MEC ADAT module that I'd be willing to trade as part of the deal, if someone needs one.

Thanks guys!

I am a new user and have found myself in need of more play back tracking. is there anyone out there who knows where I can get another EDS 1000 card. also I am running mac os 9 and would like to find plug ins if possible
I am running the blue Paris pro with a mec unit, I have an 8 input card that is black but works fine so I don't think the colors matter much LOL
thanks in advance

Welcome aboard! Very cool, it's great to see new users nowadays.

Yeah, the blue/black thing is cosmetic only, there's zero effective difference except for the silkscreening. Let us know how you get on!
