power supply wattage required??? [message #72956]

Hey guys I got the following in my comp.
Can anyone tell me what is the required power supply
wattage I should have?
I think I have 450 or 500 now.
It does this funny thing where I push the power button
and it turns on for a split second and then shuts off.
After that it doesnt respond at all until I either
unplug it and plug it back in or trip the main power switch.
Then I it will do the same thing again when I push the power button. I do
this about 10 times before it will stay on.
Any Ideas???
This is my main audio comp and this really pisses me off since it is only
a few months old.

Start pulling things till it will come on. If you have only video left and
it still won't, swap video or power supply, finally, swap motherboard.
It just gets uglier !!
