I have been asked to restore some songs that were tracked to analog tape
back in the 70's and then digitized to CD. When I heard them I said
WOW!!!.....how am I going to get that wow out of the signal? It's wow'in
bigtime. Is there a wowerizer plugin or .......what? Maybe automate an EQ to
slap a curve on the stuff that is goin' away to match the frequency curve of
the stuff that is coming back? If there is a wowerizer plugin, I need it.

When we transfered my Grandfathers 78's to CD we had the same problem... my
uncle took the Dat's to a friend of his who apparently used a midi tempo map
and either sonar or Cubase to do this...as to how they actually did it I'd
have to track down the engineer and ask him.

I've located a company that specializes in this named Plangent. Sounds like
it may be *doable* but it's best to have the original tape.
