Yep... that didn't work either.D,

1. Is it just a crossover cable with no hub or switch?

2. Why the QoS driver for XP? You definitely don't need it in this scenario
and it could be causing some issues.

3. What IP and gateway addresses are configured on the computers?

Let's nail this one down!

It would depend on the source. For electric guitars, most anything =
would
be fine, but on something quiet and acoustic, you'll need some gain...

Definitely my best $300 spent this year...

m called "Time Factory" by Prosoniq that is great at this.
It is no longer sold. Maybe you can find a copy somewhere. Steinberg bought
the algo's from them and incorperated it into nuendo and cubase, so you could
use either of those also with great results.

It is a crossover cable.
QoS I don't know why I have that...
As for IP addresses I chose 192.168.0.1 for Xp and 192.168.0.2 for Me.
I also tried the other way around too.

How does this actually work ?
Does it overwrite on same named project or does it make copies like "name"_1
, "name"_2 etc ?
Is it reliable ?
Regards,
DimitriosEven if you are using the Paris 24 bit converters (or more expensive ones)
you're likely not even getting 20 *true* bits anyway. Lavry Blue converters
are usually capable of achieving around 21 *true* bits according to some
sources I have read online. I doubt if you will have any issues with the
Paris ADAt 20bit interface degrading your audio unless you're using
Prismsound/Weiss/Lavry Gold or other high end converters.

The rub with the 20 bit Paris ADAT module comes when you are using it to
input signals that are already being processed at 24 bit or higher. Then it
is preferable (at least to my ears) to have a dither also inserted between
the sending interface and the Paris ADAt interface receiving the signal.

export
the tracks to Protools to process them and then import them back into Paris,
but it worked out fine. You can download a demo from Serato that's fully
functional for 2 or 4 weeks (can't remember which!)

------=_NextPart_000_015B_01C5AA22.9D855C60--I finally tried the mono versions of EDS reverbs on channel inserts .
What I found to my surprise is that the same effects remain in the aux as
stereo which I somewhere read that this could not be... anyway.
The problem is that there is no dry/wet control when used as inserts but the
"wires" come to rescue.
Just routing the channel to another that serves as a reverb mono return with
eq and extra effects if you please....
Anyone has some extra experience ?
Regards,
