Hi everyone,
i'd like to spread this one here lol.
I picked up paris beacause it's cheap, no latency, faders, at least decents
ADDA. The great mix bus ? i use to think it was crap (1+1=10 no ?), and i
was pleased to be wrong here. ITB mixes sound a little better in paris than
in cubase SX, everything else beeing equal.
time to upggrade is coming.
i remind my old FOH-guy days ... a soundcraft 8000 driven hot could give
a fine sonic signature.
Do you think mixing out of paris can be somewhat an improvement ? I mean
using paris DA, feeding a mid priced desk, (ATB, Amek, ghost, old studer
...)
Do you ever checked (or A/B) paris converters with things like apogee AD16X
and so on ?
The other option is pari ITB with good outboard.
let me know...
