Am I going to have problems with an AMD x2 running XP [message #74498]

I just bought an HP with an AMDx2 2.2GHZ and 2gig of ram. Outside of the normal
issues getting Paris to run on XP, is there anything else I should be aware
of?
Also, I have only ever run pentium chips in the past, are there any plugins
or apps that will give me trouble on the AMD?
