I need some more I/O. If I could add another Multiface (total of 4 x HDSP
PCI interfaces on my master DAW), my life would be perfect and I'd never
need to buy another piece of gear ever again.

Hi DJ,
I think 3 is the limit at lest on the MADI card. I think you will break
your setup with the four card. PCI bus and especially memory address
range will probably reach a limit and things will start stepping on each
other.

Will the driver support it? I've got a free IRQ, guaranteed. I would just be
using it for some extra analog stereo output busses.

Why not trade a Multiface for a Digiface?

I need 24 inputs and 32 outputs........well.........it's not like if I don't
have that many, I will die, but it would make a couple of things here a bit
simpler.

You got a DM2000 with 154 digital inputs and 154 digital outputs laying
around that you want to sell cheap? That would work for me.

;o)

HI DJ,

2 MADI cards and a AES 32 card = 160 I/O
Even with the extra analog or digital converters attached to the MADI
cards it will still be cheaper than a console.

Oh and why do you need 152 channels to record a Punk Band?
I think you will become more creative if you are given more limitations. :)

There is no way you should need 154 I/O for anything... you need to do
some serious streamlining I think!

David.
