I've been a PC guy since I sold my Mac SE many years ago. Lately, however,
I've been getting so fed up with the PC that I'm considering getting a Mac
for my DAW.
I use a Magma expansion chassis for my UAD-1 cards, so I need a Mac with
at least one full sized PCI (not PCIe) slot. What was the most powerful of
such Macs? I think they now have only PCIe slots.
I think maybe the G5 Dual 2.7, but I don't want to make an expensive mistake.

Keep in mind, that depending on which version of Magma you have, you
can get a PCIe host card to run it. Ours is slightly older so it
would need additional parts...
