We have been going back and forth on a number of threads about Mac vs PC(as
usual). I have been looking at some of my posts to you and they definitely
appear to be a bit hostile and disrespectful in hindsight. It's no secret
that we prefer different platforms for different reasons, but I want you to
know that for the most part, my tongue has been planted firmly in cheek when
making these posts with the assumption that yours has been too. The last few
posts you've made seemed to me to sound pretty aggravated and the last few
posts I've made did too. I'm sorry I provoked this. I sometimes with we had
emoticons here that would lend some nuance to our postings. I can assure you
that I haven't ruled out Mac as a possible platform for me in the future and
a goodly part of the reason for this because of you, Jaimie, Gene and others
here who use Macs. I sincerely respect all of your opinions/choices but my
posts sure haven't reflected this. I do prefer the PC right now, but things
are always subject to change and I want you to know that I respect (all of)
your "Macness" and appreciate your posts pointing out the cool things this
system can achieve.
