I have a free pass, in my name, but you should be able to still use it, for
anyone who wants it. I was planning on going but won't be able to.

Hey Chris, is SSL going to show the MaDI Extreme thingy you weretalking about
a few months ago?
I ask because mega producer Teddy Riley has jumped on-aboard with using SSL/Sadi
interfaces in his Neko DAW Keyboards aong with Nuendo. Teddy states that
theSSL interfaces sounds wonderful.
I took a look at the 2 SSL madi cards (64 & 128 channel) versions.The 128
version in on one card! If they can pull this off, with the their Duende
plugins and Mixer interface.. Then, move ovr UAD2(s)..

Hi Lamont,
Yes they will be showing them there. Not sure if they will be showing
ofr announcing the MX4 (Madi Extreme w/Duende on board) but they will be
showing the Madi Extreme 64 and 128.
The Madi Extremes do work well. They sound better than anything sense
they are digital. :)
If Teddy is using the AlphaLink AD/DAs then yes they do sound awesome.
The Madi Extreme do not have Midi I/O which the only thing I don't like
about them. They are excellent otherwise.
Not as flexible as the RME stuff but if some one is already using a
console the extra features of the RME stuff wouldn't normally be needed.
As long as SSL offers stability, support on par with RME then they will
have a very successful product and make buying Sydec finally worth it.
The SSL MX4 won't be competition for the UAD-2 but will be an awesome
combination.
I think it will make the TC world allot tougher and even the regular
Duende will seem kinda pointless unless they drop it's price allot.
