Hi Steve,
I heavily revise the PARIS drivers last summer and fall for newer PCs. It's available for sale at ensoniq.ca. It comes with a step by step word document, complete with screen shots, that should get you through. If you need help with it, I'll be there any way I can. I've sent debug versions of the driver when needed - tweaked timings - whatever is needed.
A certain someone suggested that people should just use a beta that I posted a while back instead of paying me for my work. That pissed me off so much I didn't read these forums for a month. The beta has bugs that are fixed in the release version. Plus, I won't offer the slightest bit of help to someone who either doesn't value the driver enough to feel that it is worth paying for or just thinks its OK that I should work for weeks on end for them for free. Sorry if I sound bitter, but its amazing what some people will post online when they would probably never say the same thing to your face.
The originally released XP driver would not work on a multi-core PC without significant workarounds to lock it to one CPU. The ADAT card didn't work properly under XP, either, no matter what. I've fixed all of that. You just have to install the driver and go.
All the best,
Mike

Hey Mike, First off, I'm not a PC user. I have a setup with Paris in the studio
on my Mac G4s with 512 tracks and 32 inputs. What I am trying to do is get
my session guitar players PC set up with Paris and it is only a dual core.
The 2.2 would be fine. However, I am interested in geting a quad or 8 core
G5. Will your new system work on there? Otherwise I may still get a quad
core PC of your recommendation to support it.
God Bless, Steve
