Jim Romanow who used to post her on occasion has passed on at 60 from a heart attack. Jim was a good friend for more than ten years and prompted me to get into Paris. He was well known and loved locally for all his work in the community and the joy he brought to making music. I will miss him and our marathon conversations on everything from roots music to string theory. Bye for now old friend...

Very unwelcomed news but thanks for sharing. It's amazing to me how this increasingly small community seeded relationships that have managed to weather time, distance, absence and the like for what 10, 12 years?
