This did work at one time, back when I only had 1 MEC. Haven't used it a
long time, tried it tonight and no go, tried my second MEC still no go.
Tried to toggle the main/monitor switch on the MECs, checked my cans
elsewhere, they work fine. Anyone else have this issue on a 2 card, 2 MEC
sys? Is this somekind of funky Paris limitation? Is it possible that I fried
these outputs somewhere along the way? Other than this, the MECs work fine.

Thanks
Rob

Thanks Deej, yes MECa attached to card A, and MECb attached to card b, both
headphone outs are not working. No biggy I guess, I never use them but I'm
kinda curious what is causing it.

Maybe I missed something obvious, but.... Like you I haven't fooled with it
as I use an external headphone multi-amp and have for years, so .... but I'm
thinking, didn't that have to be patched up in the bay?

I don't recall having to patch anything in particular, basically plug the
cans into the MEC, decide what signal you want to monitor (main/monitor) and
turn up the volume. This could be different in a multi MEC setup though.
The plan was to use the MECa headphone out to feed a line in on my laptop
running a spectrum analyser app. I guess I'll have to move to plan B, what
was plan B again.......?

Thanks

Don't you have to have the main outs from the mixer patched to the outputs
on the MEC (not any modules) to hear the h/phone outs?

Kerr was exactly rite, after patching from the main outs of the mixer module
to the MEC module , the MEC phone outs work. Thanks again Kerr.

This may be one for the wiki.
