This is driving me nuts. I got the Amplitube plugin demo and
installed it. At first use I simply applied it to an already recorded track
and WOW cooo-hoo-hool !! Then I brought a guitar player in the studio for
a session and plugged the guitar
directly in track one and activated Amplitude in the Native
Plugin section. What the heck??? no effect. So we recorded a dry track,
then in playback it's on, but not while we're
recording...
It's very hard for a Hard drivin' guitar player to get into it
with a dry guitar.
How can we make this thing work while we are recording?
Is there some kind of PRE/Post switch somewhere?
The EDS inserts don't act like this...
Please e-mail me if you can a phone number so I can talk to someone... stevec1@charter.net

Native effects in Paris will never work on the way in, only on
playback. Sorry, that's just the way it works. The EDS based effects
work while recording but only on sends (parallel effects), not on
inserts (which would be needed to record the effect).

Necessary next audio card with ASIO support.You.ll use it like hardware guitar
unit with Paris.Open Paris, open Amplitube as stand alone put out&in from
audio card to in&out of Paris hardware, active it in mixer to aux(effect
send-return).Recording guitar in Paris with Amplitube as effect on Aux.Track
recorded will be dry. Then put Amplitube VST to insert on this dry recorded
guitar, tune sound and rest and
render track.
