Hi All

This warning C0000005 04b5d520 has started showing up when trying to
open a song - crashes paris and the computer...re load paris, open up the
same file and it loads no problem

Any ideas what this is all about

Now this is just weird...this will crash the computer (auto restart) and
when I relauch Paris and try the same song again it opens up with no
problems.

If it keeps auto restarting, it's a virus.

Pace isn't on board and the only new stuff added to the computer is
networking to the other (cubase) rig but I'll run a virus check on it just
to be sure.

I seem to recall having a problem like this & it ended up being
due to a corrupted audio file, or an edit on an audio file...
wasn't a system-related thing.

Corrupt project? Do other projects do this ? Did you accidently save with
looping on ?
Corrupt applications......reinstall scherzo, paris and effects subsystem

I think I'm looking at corrupted projects as all the ppj's came from several
huge wav files...six bands, six songs per band.

I'm going to go back to square one and start with each individual band's set
and see what happens. Then I'll break up each set into songs again but
render each track as a new track and dump the old paf's

There's a days worth of work right there

have you tried deleting the image files and let paris redraw them?

I don't want to jump the gun here but it looks like dumping all the
overviews then reloading the songs and rendering everything to new tracks,
then dumping the original tracks seems to be doing the trick
