So, I have been a bit frustrated of late with some of the reverb plugs
at my disposal... "there has to be something better" I thought. I
have heard of SIR from time to time and thought, what the heck, how
hard can it be to install (Nuendo). So, I donwload it along with some
impulses from Lex, Quantec and others... drag the .dll into the plus
folder and boot Nuendo. I called up a simple session that I did last
week and stuck a Quantec impulse on the vocal... HOLY CRAP!!!

WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS THING EARLIER!!!!!! ;-)

*sigh*

David.

Yeah, it's pretty darn sweet man. I sure wish Paris handled it with less
latency though :)

David,
I have been living by the SIRs. 200ms latency is an easy fix.
Snr, vocals, acoustic gtrs all shine through the 1,000s of choices.
I can usually get 3 or 4 going at final mixdown.

David, if you need classical style reverb some of the European halls are
unreal. Actually they are real. They are quite dense so not great for =
pop.

And thanks for getting my WC happening!
Tom

The newest version is only 200 (paris) ms exactly. Pretty easy, really.

even bettah - danke' man. I'm getting ready to tackle the dread video issue
on my rig - once I have the green light I'll probably dump in this newest
SIR and enjoy it... due to your infoshare.
Thanks man.
