I have a Apogee 8000 converter, I have been thinking about using on my system (just to see how it sounds) but have not found a A-Dat card for the Apogee 8000 at a fair price. Seems like they want more then the card is worth. I also looked into Benchmark converters for the final mix buss. Has anyone done this and what did you think. Did it take away the dark side sound of the Paris main mix or is that part of the software that makes it sound dark. I was looking at some Bench-Mark converter for the main out and maybe the way to go. I would like see more detail, and imaging in the stereo field. Any thoughts on this would be great!

I think your on to something with the Apogees and the Benchmark. Long time user "DJ" had the benchmark and as I recall, he quantified the sound improvement around a 15% or more improvement. He may have also had the Apogee. Someone here must have blazed the apogee trail in the past. I also think a newer Clock would likely improve the overall sound of Paris.
